Patti Aulick Hale passed away Thursday, March 18, 2010, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Born July 11, 1918, in Coldsprings, Kentucky, Patti moved with her family to Los Angeles in 1926.
She lived in southern California until 2005, when she moved to her daughter's home in Vidor, Texas.

Dark Horse Deluxe, the product arm of Dark Horse Comics, has announced a special exclusive variant in their popular line of toys based on fashion and viral superstar Domo. The Domo Qee figure is unique to the Hong Kong–based toy company Toy2R and has been a massive hit since the line was launched in 2009.
The debut Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) will be held at McCormick Place, located at 2301 South Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, Illinois.
Dates are April 16–18, 2010.

Barbie and her signature hourglass figure are getting the "Mad Men" treatment.
Mattel, Lionsgate and AMC announced a partnership recently to create four dolls in the likeness of characters from the influential, Emmy-winning show set in a fashionable, 1960s ad agency.
The Betty Draper doll will wear a floral dress – with pearls and pumps to match – just like the suburban housewives of the day, and office bombshell Joan Holloway has a purple skirt suit and a pen necklace.

In my (never ending) quest to inundate my life with all things Android I run across some of the most bizarre and sometimes awesome things.
Fortunately, my family tolerates my craving for more (usually, until I brought my Nexus One to bed with me... ya that was some great advice ).
I did find something recently that I had to fight my kids over though, and even standing at 6'4" tall and 240 lbs, I almost lost it to them.

This weekend, the Bata Shoe Museum in Toronto will offer pre-teen girls a chance try out dreamy careers - rock star, ballerina, surfer, race car driver (and dentist, too).
The new Barbie "I Can Be" Academy, staged by a marketing firm for Mattel Canada, is designed to inspire girls.
The jobs are among the 125 that Barbie has also held since her debut in 1959.

New 'Dancing with the Stars' co-host (and former winner) Brooke Burke was spotted out with her daughter, Neriah , at Cross Creek in Malibu yesterday afternoon.

Tiger Woods' attorneys are not happy with a company called Pipedream Products, which has created an entire line of Tiger Woodst-themed sex toys.
The products include giant condoms, low-up Tiger sex dolls, and some things that are so filthy TMZ said they couldn't even describe them.
Tiger's attorneys want all the items that were already sold to be recalled and the remaining times to be removed from sale and destroyed "in a manner and at a time as directed by Tiger Woods."
